The Invitation

I received a pretty odd invitation from my ex-company today.

It brings me back to the conversation when my ex-GM called me on the phone whilst on the road few days ago. Darren always the joking type and I didnt take his entire conversation seriously that evening. He says he is quitting PSM. (The head of an office quitting the job impromtu, suddenly, is seriously fishy)

But after the 'odd invitation' came from the Finance mgr,Dexter today via msn. My suspicion take a U-turn on Darren's words.

PSM lost a good leader today. So Darren did tender. I dont understand. and to add to the woes on the loss, Daniel (best salesperson and older generation snr sales engr) announced that he is leaving as well.

It was an impact readers might not understand, but let me just say that PSM is built mainly on Daniel's sales tactics and Darren's glib. Leelee and Adrian is good, but not as good as those 2. Even though Daniel had a rotten repute as a gambler, womaniser, but his job and his sales skills, none can compare.

So you smart readers will understand what I am driving at now.

I was quite disturbed. Using money isnt the really ideal way for me to get some place. but i do who is vulnerable to money right now (lolx) and maybe i can intro him to go PSM instead. but too bad he isnt a sales person. :P HOR BAN!?

I am worried about what will happen to my ex-company. the impact it will have on the support people, like Owyong, suhaily, Jo. Adrian and Leelee are they strong enough to withstand the competition in the coming months? years? When Daniel joined a new coy, will he not reveal and take all his customers away? (YES I NOE U GUYS THINKS ITS UNETHICAL, BUT ITS NOT ILLEGAL) or perhaps Darren joined another fastening line, it will be BAD BAD news for PSM.

it is indeed a sad day for me. I am thinking if I am lucky to leave before this happens. Maybe Fate does dealt me a good hand sometimes.

As far as I am concerned, as an ex-employee of PSM, it will be disappointing to know what is happening currently and if there is any way I can help them, I will. but going back to the old line, my heart is dead.

and in my last post I talked about my 'summary trial' at the CMPB for missing IPPT. BOY AM I GLAD I AM NOT FINED FOR THIS TIME ROUND!

the disciplinary officer is also a NS man, he asked me if I knew why am I summoned here. I told him because of my 'neligence' due to the job and stuffs and I pleads for leniency on his sentence.

He was pleased that I am quite courteous to him, he checked my records and found them clean and this is first incident. he decided not to fine me. ($50 bucks for your info, if fined)

So I had to booked another RT session for the new workyear which will be happening in Jan'08. *shrugz* No big deal anyway. I still owe the govt 6 more yrs of reservists anyway.

My car mileage is extremely high I am afraid. PPl with black license plate ( and i mean normal ppl with normal routes) will maybe clock about 5K in 3-4mths. I clocked 5K in less than 3 mths. and NOW MY 10K is around the corner! I counted my first car arrival is around July, now, Oct, WHICH MEANS I CLOCKED an ADDITIONAL 5K WITHIN A MONTH! HOLY SMOKE! did I drive that much or the mileage meter is spoilt?

Being in sales line is quite terrifying. esp local sales. I am still getting used. and the regular pumping of petrol.. last time i was pumping like every 3 days once. I found myself pumping 3-4times per week now. (EWWWWWW)

I am doing some counting if the petrol allowance is even enough to pay for my whole mth consumption. (1 time around 40bucks + half tank) I figured out if I have less than 10 slips of receipt at around that amount, I would have enough to pay thr the company expenses. Looking at the situation, I might face some serious deficit.

not to mention the 10K servicing, Ihave decided NOT to go back to cycle & carriage anymore. the last 2 visits was because of the free-labour. Now I will go to aftermarket servicing shops which is relatively cheaper. the trick of course, is to identify the meticulous ones.

and Lancer club came in handy with reputable servicing centres i can refer on.

Social life is still zero at the moment. I nvr been to st james since Aug. or pubbing, or touching any alcohol. Wedding dinners been attending like siao though. even a simple dinner with friends. I duno, no calls coming in? lolx.

Saturday is coming again. Will be tinting my car tomorrow! thinking of a cooling interior makes me excited. and they are giving me free PPT (Paint protection treatment voucher) after the whole thing. tinsy cool is the place if you drivers are interested. At Kaki Bukit tomorrow.

Was browsing through the car accessories website in Thailand. THE PRIcES IS unbelivable. More reasons to visit thailand I guess when I confirmed.
