Paintball!!!

Hello Dearies, miss me? lolx

I know it had been a long time since i blogged. and i had some of you asking me to update.. but i had been too busy lately.

So I'll just write about some events that happened over those lost weeks;

Last week I was involved in Andy's and Jolyn wedding video interview (yup they are finally getting married) and I had to sit along with Kahua and vivian for the video interview where we were asked abt Andy and Jolyn life history and such. It is so funny and some even had a blank look when answering. I guess not everyone is camera-ready.

The wedding boutique was quite high end and it was situated on the slops of emerald hill. Its called Chris Ling and I must say the services is damn good. they paid more than 6K for the wedding package. Whoever wanna get married next time can consider that place.

and immediately after the event, i drove straight to SLE and reached sembawang bottle tree park where we had our long awaited paintball event with the rest of the folks.

Kahua & gf, Randal & Joan, Laine & Ainar (both ozzie, and Ainar is an angmoh) , the singles are fookie, Andrew (whom brought his gf for the games), Larry (new friend i knew, Randal's frend) & Vic kor XD.

Some are regulars in my paintballing events, except for Ainars and Laine. We were grouped in 3, with 4 ppl in each team. I was teamed with Kahua and vivian, together with fook. But we lost the most matches :( as we managed to secure 1 win and 5 losses.
We played a total of 6 games, and I was shot 5 times on my body which left ugly bruises. hehe. Kahua was also another major casualty. Only Vic kor and Randal is spotlessly clean. I guess they're the pro in this matchday.

I also saw icetrap engaging in his tournament paintball match. He was asking why i nvr jio him this time. (I told him he already joined tournament liao, no need bully the newbies in my event lolx)

I had my fun shoointg ppl and the rest had fun as well. As for doorgifts, i prepared black towel with paintball logo embroided on it. the folks liked it a lot. (thank god)

I went home with a sore back and cramped legs. Nvrtheless, the folks requsted another game of paintball in the coming months, I guess i'll have to humor them with another round.

These 2 days I was busy with drafting course (Adwin send me) with Toni on course. 2D drawing isnt so bad but it was tedious trying to remember all the functions and commands. I guess I am still quite okay, managed to understand most of the syllabus and practised quite a bit on the software. Toni and I had nice breakfast in Geylang these 2 days as well. (But i had to fetch her from Aljunied mrt early in the morning -_-")

Sometimes I just dun understand the gist of being so engrossed in work. Even when I am on course, my phone just kept ringing and I had to answer my customer calls as well. My heart, remains in G. and i was thinking if the 'weather' is 'stormy' or good in the company.

"Would i have a 'gd time' when i return?" I duno.. i feel i am buried too deep to enjoy my course.

I had a new foreman came in this month, he was supposed to learn everything from Terng and perhaps lead the guys in the next decade. I had also handed much of the planning and organising and was preparing to transit over to sales fully. I was like a 'bao ka liao' staff and now I had some free space. Do hope Raymond will stay on and continue to serve G while I busied myself with strategies in launching the stagnant product.

Many ppl think of Raymond arrival as my 'promotion' whilst I was thinking it had given Eric more power to dictate what I shld do with this 'extra manpower' given to me. (lest u know in case I didnt do something on time, he will say :' I tot raymond had already reduced ur workload or something etc ' )

I was granted an immmunity from my company last month. I no longer had to worry about fuel card out of money anymore. G had given me the power to claim for extra fuel expenses if my petrol card ran out. which means, I no longer had to worry abt fuel savings and cost. But still had to claim at end of the mth with my receipt. But I am one of the 'special staff' that was granted this immunity other than the snr mgrs.

Looking back, it had almost been a yr since I entered G. Another 19 more days and I am officially one yr old in G. and my impending birthday is just around the corner.

Milk was asking if I shld go to St james again but I doubt this yr I will be back. (Coz last yr i was there with dozens of the friends but i ended up a merlion) and somemore its.... the 30s.

Yup, the 30. my twenties slipped past me like an arrow. Did I enjoyed my youth? have I wasted it? It merely is a daze for me. All I remember is working my ass off just to afford myself a set of wheels. and i achieved it.

Some of the females friends were quite consoling. they were telling me men in their 30's show their charm and maturity. and its like the prime moment of their life. For me, I duno, perhaps there is some truth to it. (lolx =x )

But things is still the same for me. I hosted a pre-birthday banquet dinner with 5 of my friends @ long beach last week. I invited my family along for the occasion as well. The food wasnt good, neither it was bad. Milk said the food gave him diarrhoea. I think i had the runs as well. and i burned a hole in my pocket because of this dinner as well.

Watched "Money no enuff 2" by JAck Neo and his actors. it was a bitter sweet comedy filled with laughters and tears. Esp the role played by the old lady from Msian, she played the role of their mum and her sufferings and dealing with old age. it was very heartwrenching as her daughter-in-laws treated her unkindly. and she died in the end as her grandaughter also needed the blood tranfusion with the same blood type and she sacrificed herself to let her grandaughter lives. ( I could see from my corner of my eye, my 2nd sis crying in the cinema. )

WHAT A PUSSY! XD

National day is coming, my reservist is also coming in the middle of August, I will be locked up in camp for 2 weeks while the rest of you guys can go town and play. Looks like I wont be around much @ home this month.

AND last but not the least...

I REALLY WANNA GO ABROAD AND I MEAN IT!!! Have not taken any annual leave for the past yr. 17 days and counting.

I must GET OUT OF SINGAPORE SOMEHOW! I PROMISE!!!
